The best way to learn a foreing language

Hi everybody!
I've been thinking about how to learn a foreign language, and I've arrived to these conclusions:

· If you don't know anything about the language, you should start learning it in an academy.
· But if you can understand the idiom at a basic level, a part to continue studying at school or academy, I recommend you some entertaining activities like:
-Watching films or series in the language that you're learning (if you don't understand anything, it's preferable to put the foreign language subtitles)
          - Listening to music in the foreign idiom (If you want, you can read the lyrics while you're listening to the songs)
These two activities will make you improve your listening comprehension.
          - Reading books (While you're reading, unconsciously your mind is recording the words, so reading is very important to learn how to write well the words. Other than this, reading a lot is the best way to improve your reading comprehension)
          - Having a penpal friend (this is a great option to progress in your writing and you'll probably make a new friend!)
          - But without doubts, the best way to learn a foreign language is going abroad (on your own, with your family, with an exchange...), to a country where you have to speak and listen all the time the language. At first it'll be a bit difficult, but when you get used to it, you'll probably have fun and you'll keep a very good memory about the experience.

This is the song "I was made for loving you", one of the best themes that Kiss have made. (It's with lyrics). I'm learning English, and this is an example about listening and reading comprehension.

If you're interested on exchanges, this is a web page that organizes them. http://es.lingoo.eu/encontar-a-una-familia.html

If you want to watch a film, but you don't know any film to watch, I suggest you V for Vendetta, Da Vinci Code, A perfect getaway, X-men, Resident Evil... If you don't like any of these, please comment this post and I'll suggest another one's.

If you have any doubts or questions, please, comment them in this post.
Yours faithfully,
Roger M.
